Message From the Pastor

Dear Members and Friends of WOMBC:

We have shared this year together in many ways. Today, as we approach the dawning of a New Year, I think a benediction is fitting. I choose one from Philippians 4:20 — “To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.”

All that has been experienced and accomplished during this year is meant for one purpose only: to bring glory to God.

All we have been in our relationships — whatever was required of us in the way of faithfulness, support, love, and up‑building — all this was meant for one ultimate purpose: to reflect the greatness of the grace of God.

All our works, the way we used our talents, the intentions we invested in action, the careful workmanship we gave to the jobs assigned us — all this for one reason only: to demonstrate to others the quality of our reverence for God.

All our giving, the money we shared, the works it made possible, our gratefulness for the opportunity to give, the tug in our hearts inspired by Christ’s compassion for the world — for one purpose only: that God’s works begun here might continue and thrive always.

So as we near the end of this fruitful year, all we have been and done together rises like an anthem of praise to add to the glory of God at work in the world, and to proclaim to the world that, as we have lived together in peace, cooperation, and love, we are all children of one Father.
